Mahesh Bhatt released three films this year and two out of them turned out to be sleeper hits Zeher and Kalyug.

This year also saw the Bhatt factory consolidated their position as great marketeers as well as people who have a found the formula to make musical hits.

In addition they established to the industry that even small films with no star cast but with contemporary and engaging subjects can create hits instead of just films with big stars and bigger budgets.
